Natural disaster recovery and prevention system

Recently, climate change is causing floods, landslides, typhoons, droughts one after another around the world and the damage is so enormous that it has a significant effect on the nation’s economy. Moreover, the frequency of occurrence is continuously increasing and casualties and damages of property are being highlighted as severe problems. Thus, a proactive countermeasure is required.

Hello. Welcome to the website of the Korea Rainwater Association.

We will actively support research on rainwater use and management.

The need for rainwater use and management is being emphasized as part of the measures to prepare for the recent water shortage and normalize the water cycle. If rainwater is well managed, tap water can be saved by securing auxiliary water resources in the resource saving dimension, and in terms of prevention, tap water can be saved to prevent urban flooding. In addition, through early rainwater treatment and reduction of contaminant leaks, spot pollutants can be reduced, and eco-friendly cities can be realized earlier.
The Korea Rainwater Association is promoting rainwater use and management as a new business and considers it a key element of sustainable urban development for eco-friendly environments. Through efficient management of rainwater, we will contribute to eco-friendly urban development and sustainable society.
